Rev. William Ferguson

Rev. William Ferguson was called to First Congregational Church of Pelham in April, 2007, after a two year Pastoral search. Prior to that he had served as Associate Pastor of Children Youth and Family at the Hampstead Congregational Church UCC in Hampstead New Hampshire since 2001, and Assistant Pastor of the First Congregational Church of Braintree Massachusetts of the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches
from 1997 – 2001.

As a strong believer in the strength that is found in the fellowship and life of Congregational Churches, Rev. Bill brings his experience in Youth Ministry, Confirmation formation, Adult Education, Fellowship events, preaching and counseling to the First Congregational Church of Pelham UCC. He is available for to pastoral care, crisis counseling, building youth ministry, building community, and helping individuals see God actively at work in their lives.

Rev. Bill was ordained in October 1999 at the First Congregational Church of Braintree, MA. and is associated with both the UCC and the NACCC. Rev. Bill holds a BA in Social Service from Boston State College, a Masters of Education in Counseling from Bridgewater State College and a Masters of Divinity from the Andover-Newton Theological School in Newton, Ma. He and his wife, Maureen, have three children: son, Daniel, a student at UCONN a son John a student at UNH and a son Andrew, a High School student.

Mr. Tom Senoiw
Director of Music

Music Director Thomas Seniow directs the adult Chancel Choir and the children's Cherub Choir. Tom holds a bachelor of science degree in music education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and a master of science degree in music education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Tom has been a public school music teacher for over 25 years. He is currently the director of choirs at Manchester Central High School and has taught previously in the Pelham and Chelsea , MA school systems.

Tom has 2 children- Kendra, 21 and Laura, 17- and 2 step children- Joey, 12 and Sarah, 11. He is a member of the board of trustees here at First Church and sings in the tenor section of the Manchester Choral Society. He and his wife Brenda, whom he met here at church, raise Nigerian dwarf dairy goats and lots of other animals at their Windham home.

Mrs Peggy Murphy
Administrative Assistant

Peggy has been First Congregational Churches Administrative Assistant since 1998. Prior to
that, she was Director of the Steepletop Kindergarden program located here
at the church. Peggy is married to her husband Neal, has two grown
children Adam and Bethany and a grandson Austin. And of course, anyone
who knows Peggy also knows Isabella Grace, Zeus and Dunkin Moo

John Whitworth
Church Sexton.

John has been our Church Sexton since
2005. A resident of Pelham, John is married to his wife, Debra, has two
grown children Traci and Tanya and two grandchildren Jacob and Alissa.
John is very active with his volunteer work with the Animal Rescue
Network of New England.

Carolyn "Sue"Howard has been First Congregational Churches organist
since 1977, when she was asked to substitute for the church organist at
the time. Since then, Sue has been the mainstay of our music ministry.
Sue has been married to husband Richard for 37 years and they have two
grown children, Lauren and John, and three grandchildren, Chelsea, Thomas
and Matthew. When not playing for local schools, weddings, community
events,and especially local jazz clubs , Sue enjoys other interests
including genealogy, Southern and Italian food,
collecting recipes, and THE RED SOX! "
