Our Music Committee, after consultation with and agreement from Music Director Tom Seniow, Sue Howard and Rev. Bill, is pleased to announce that we are launching a drive for New Hymnals for our church. After looking at several different Hymnals from a variety of publishers, we have chosen HYMNS FOR A PILGRIM PEOPLE as the recommended new Hymnal for our church. Assembled by a team of Congregational churches, “Hymns for a Pilgrim People” celebrates the diversity of Christian music, includes 570 of the best-loved traditional hymns, gospel songs, praise songs, new hymns, spirituals, contemporary songs and children’s songs. Our current red hymnal we have been using in worship for over 30 years and the Renew Hymnal will be replaced by “Hymns for a Pilgrim People”.

The Hymnals cost $20 apiece including shipping and we will need 150 Hymnals. We are offering our members, friends and fellowship groups the opportunity to donate and dedicate Hymnals in the “Memory of” or “Honor of” special people in your lives with a bookplate that will be attached to the inside cover of the Hymnal.
